Armed Robbers Caught on Camera

Los Angeles:  Wilshire Area Robbery Detectives are asking the public’s help in identifying two robbery suspects who were caught on surveillance camera.

On October 23, 2008, at around 9:50 a.m., two Hispanic suspects entered “Bo Bos” second hand store located at 4279 West 3rd Street in Koreatown.  The suspects walked up to the counter and one of them pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the owner.  They forced the owner upstairs and tied her up.  The suspects took merchandise as well as a laptop computer and fled in a vehicle that had been parked outside.

The armed suspect is 30 to 35 years of age and has a goatee.  He stands approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 150 to 160 pounds.

The other suspect is also 30 to 35 years of age.  He stands about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 140 to 150 pounds.

The suspects’ vehicle was an older model gold Toyota mini-van.

Anyone with information or recognize these suspects is asked to call Wilshire Area Robbery Detective Natalie Humpherys at (213) 922-8205.  After hours or on weekends, calls may be directed to a 24-hour, toll-free number at 1-877-LAPD-24-7 or by texting CRIMES (274637) and beginning the message with the letters LAPD.  Tipsters may also submit information on the LAPD website www.lapdonline.org.  All tips will remain anonymous.
