Hit and Run Driver Sought

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a Hit and Run driver.

On August 11, 2008, at around 2:45 p.m.., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at 3rd Street just east of Kingsley Drive. An unknown vehicle hit the victim who was walking northbound on 3rd Street, causing the victim to sustain serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without identifying him/herself and rendering aid to the victim.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

The name of the victim a male adult, will be withheld until next of kin has been notified.

Anyone with information about the vehicle, or was a witness to the accident is asked to contact West Traffic Division, Officer H. Hsu at 213-473- 0239. During weekends and off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).
